Thunderstorming

I love thunderstorms. The worse the storm the more I love it. There are a lot of things I love about storms. I like the sound of them. I like to feel safe inside while they rage outdoors. I like to run out in them and feel like a part of them. I think they're romantic. They remind me of this one person who also liked storms and we enjoyed storms together many times. I like the sound of the rain hitting windows. I love it when the lightning makes everything look like its bathed in fluorescent light for a split second. I love getting rained on (but not for too long) in a storm. I like kissing during a storm. I like being in a car during a storm. I like people-watching during thunderstorms.I like to watch puddles during a storm. I enjoy writing songs during a storm. Storms get me thinking. I think of new ideas, reminisce about the 'good ol' days', I make plans for when the storm is over. Driving in a storm is also fun but only when its nighttime and there is no one else on the road. Storms are great. Its storming real hard right now. Storms make me happy and sad all at once. A lot of good things happened to me during storms but at the same time storms are associated with the negative. In the movies storms are always raging when something terrible happens. I like storms that come out of nowhere. Like the kind that happen on an otherwise sunny day. They come out of nowhere and leave just as fast. I like going to the movies during a storm. I like to turn off all the lights and the TV and sit in a quiet room and observe the storm. During a storm I can feel the electricity in the air. Its like you breathe it in and it does something to you. Storms are like a drug. If you could buy storms from a dealer you know I'd be on the South Side copping some Storm from "my guy".

Storms are great and I love them.
